Product Description
Star Gladiator was one of Capcom's first successful 3D Beat-em-ups back when it was released on Sony's Playstation. It was an extremely playable and enjoyable fighting game with great characters set in futuristic environments. Capcom have always managed to capture the essence of what makes a game completely addictive and this title is no exception. Plasma Sword is the sequel to Star Gladiators and now the action takes place on your Dreamcast. The power of Sega's console does the game justice as the visual quality has gone through the roof. The combo system in Plasma Sword is intuitive and works well. If you can imagine a tree structure with the different attacks as branches, then finding the path to the longest combo is simply a matter of experimentation. Alternatively, a training mode is included which gives you a visual representation of the combination attacks. Learning these moves and special attacks will help you on your road to victory. In addition to this, there are plasma attacks and counters to balance out the gameplay, usually with spectacular graphical effects. Plasma Sword has 22 different characters to learn and boasts several game modes to keep you entertained. The two-player mode is a fighting frenzy with months of potential fun. If a decent fighting game is what you're after, Plasma Star could be your answer.
